A corner house with a long frontage and entrance in Davies Street, built in the early 1900s for Lord Edward Spencer-Churchill, son of the sixth Duke of Marlborough. Designed by C. W. Stephens, the architect of Claridges and Harrods, this four-storey town mansion in red brick with stone dressings and ‘Queen Anne’ features, modified by the onset of Edwardian Baroque.

Over a period of 8 weeks and at a cost of £80,000, Gaysha undertook external decoration works comprising masonry and timber repairs, re-pointing, painting all external windows and doors, painting all ironworks, refurbishing the common part lifts, and refurbishing a basement common part area, all of which enabled the client to command a higher level of rental income.
