Brook Street, Mayfair
39 Brook Street is a three storey house in Mayfair which dates from 1720 but was partially rebuilt in 1822 following water damage to the foundations.
This internal renovation project to convert the building into a restaurant and private members club, involves the creation of a completely new layout inside and the installation of a lift, whilst retaining the historical character of the building.
The challenge of excavating the basement on a busy street in Mayfair was managed using a heavy-duty conveyor belt system.
•Complete strip out from basement level up to 3rd floor
•Excavation and tanking of basement area
•Creation of new layout throughout including lift shaft and structural support
•Full mechanical and electrical installation
